- Subject: Forced unwind support
Hello there,
i'm trying to compile the glibc 2.11 for arm. i belive that i do something wrong with my add-ons and hope you can help me:
my call is
"schoe02r@mchn342c:~/Downloads/glibc-2-build$ /home/schoe02r/Downloads/glibc-2.11/configure --prefix=/home/schoe02r/arm-glib/ --build=arm-linux-gnu --host=i686-linux-gnu --with-binutils=/usr/local/arm-linux/bin/ --enable-add-ons=/home/schoe02r/Downloads/glibc-ports-2.11,nptl --with-headers=/home/schoe02r/test/gumstix-os/tmp/staging/arm-angstrom-linux-gnueabi/include/
"
but i get the error "checking for forced unwind support... no
configure: error: forced unwind support is required
"
so i simply specifiy the folder with the unpacked ports-sources. to this i gave the --build=arm-linux-gnu option. is there anythinge else i have to do?
or is the unwind support something completly different and nothing from the arm plugin?
thanks and best regards,
Rene SchÃnfelder
