Upstream's going to need a resync at some point soon. Over the past two
months gcc/libffi/ has sprouted patches in src/x86, src/arm, src/mips and now
src/powerpc, that don't appear to have been applied to src/libffi/ yet. FTR,
FYI, etc. (not picking on you specifically David); upstream cc'd in. Would
probably make sense to wait until 4.5 branchpoint when gcc/ will have settled
down.
Dave,

How should I merge the libffi changes upstream now?

Thanks, David

Virtually all of the recent patches are already upstream. Perhaps you are looking at the old cvs repository instead of the new git repository. http://sourceware.org/libffi
I haven't deleted the old cvs repo though -- I just placed a LIBFFI-DEVELOPMENT-HAS-MOVED file in the top directory. Perhaps I should just delete it all.

The last stand-alone release of libffi was made a week ago, and it included all of the latest patches from GCC (including your changes from December, David). If people continue dropping changes into the GCC tree, I'll make sure they get "upstream".

Thanks!

AG
