terminate ?

Hi,
  I'm making slow progress on getting GCC/libstdc++-v3 working under RH7.
I built a CVS snap of gcc taken this morning and it has successfully built
and installed; I've hit two problems:

   1) It seems to be damn fussy about new lines on the end of files.
   2) There is a missign symbol 'terminate(void)' - where should this come
from?
