FWIW dejagnu uses `XPASS' to mean this.

From the dejagnu manual:

`XPASS'
     A pleasant kind of failure: a test was expected to fail, but
     succeeded.  This may indicate progress; inspect the test case to
     determine whether you should amend it to stop expecting failure.
