CVS Broken?

Subject: CVS Broken?

I think I broke my CVS configuration this morning, and I could use some help getting it back.  I was following (or trying to follow) the welcome instructions for how to use ssh-agent to avoid entering my SSH passphrase on every CVS command.  I have not been able to get any response from CVS since then.  I have validated that my CVS client runs against my own local :pserver: instance.

I have validated that the .ssh/identity.pub file pre-dates the .ssh/known_hosts file, so I believe that is still valid.  I'm not sure where else to look.
