Are you using Visual Studio 2005? I built a project in that, by
adding pthread.c and pthread.h to a project. Then put "." in
the additional includes path.
There are additional things you have to do to link statically.
It has been so long that I forgot what they are. I put them
in my constructors and destructors, but I don't know if you
are programming in C or C++.
