2004 Campaign E-Update

We have enjoyed a special weekend with our veterans, our enlisted men and women and their families. It has been an opportunity to say thank you to those who have allowed us as Americans to enjoy the freedoms that we take for granted each and every day. It has also been an opportunity to say thank you to the families of our military men and women. They are the ones who are making such a tremendous sacrifice each and every day as they have their loved ones deployed and in the field in Iraq and Afghanistan.

To all of our veterans, thank you for your service and for your love of our country. To each and every family member of one of our enlisted men and women, thank you for the sacrifices you make. May God bless and keep you during this time of loneliness and separation.

My best,

Marsha Blackburn

About Us

What is STOMP?

Grassroots volunteers have always been the key to success in elections. And through hard work and dedication, activists such as you have been successful in establishing Republican strongholds throughout the nation. But there are many other areas that now need your help.

STOMP, the Strategic Taskforce to Organize and Mobilize People is a nationwide network of dedicated volunteers who have committed to assisting Republicans in our most competitive areas. By strengthening our Party in the most competitive areas, we will lead all of our Republican candidates to victory.

Why Join STOMP?

Even as campaigns change, nothing can replace face-to-face contact. Statistics consistently show that personal contact with voters is the deciding factor in close elections.

STOMP is an essential element of the Republican strategy for victory in November. Your participation in this program is critical to its success.

The political stakes were incredibly high in the elections of 2000. This year, the stakes are even higher.

As a nation at war amidst a recovering economy, now more than ever, we need the steady hand of Republican leadership at the national, state and local levels.

Defeat in the House and other critical races throughout the country would hand control over the legislative agenda to the most liberal Democrats. The same Democrats who have opposed successful Welfare Reform plans, opposed needed tax relief for working Americans and supported deep cuts in our nations military.

Republicans have been successful at passing significant legislation to improve both the economic and personal security of all Americans.

We must make sure that President Bush continues to have a Republican House and more Republican leadership at all levels of government to help implement the most effective agenda for America.

The battle starts here. Democrats are counting on Republicans not to volunteer. They are betting that Republicans will be unwilling to work as hard as they do.

You can prove the Democrats wrong by joining STOMP today!

What Will I Do?

Strengthening our party will benefit all Republican candidates and ultimately benefit our nation. Through voter education initiatives, voter registration drives and Get Out The VOTE programs, you will be working to build up our Partys base and increase Republican participation in the election.

You will receive regular updates on some of the most competitive areas in the country and be invited to travel to those areas near your home where help is most needed.

Voter Education
All too often, the lines between truth and fiction are blurred by our opponents slick and untruthful media campaigns. By participating in STOMP, you will be able to take our message directly to the people. Through literature drops, phone banks and door-to-door precinct canvassing, you can better educate people on the important issues facing our nation and about Republican solutions to these problems.

Voter Registration
In addition to educating the public, STOMP will be working to encourage greater participation in the electoral process. The first step is making sure that people are registered to vote. Working with State and Local Republican organizations, STOMP members will have the opportunity to participate in voter registration drives in key areas. These drives serve to expand the Republican base in competitive areas and will help give our Republican candidates the edge they need to win.

Getting Out The Vote
Education and registration are only half of the equation. Voting is the voice with which we the people govern our government and guide the course of our nation. It is important that all Republicans play a part. So, precinct-by-precinct, block-by-block and door-by-door STOMP will be organizing aggressive Get Out The Vote programs to ensure that the Republican voice is heard loud and clear in the upcoming election.

Together, we can ensure strong Republican turnout and STOMP to victory. Join Today!
