"Anand SVR" is trying to write a kernel module that accesses various
kernel information and sends the data to a remote monitor. His life
would probably be much easier with a SystemTap script instead.

He later mentions the possibility of running in an embedded environment
within tight memory constraints, which SystemTap might not be able to
manage, but it's probably still worth investigating...
