Hi,
Can anyone shed some light on the current status of
rprobes i.e Function-return probes. I browsed through
the list archives and found some traffic on rprobes
around March 2005.
I am basically looking for a maechanism that would let
me log the arguments of a function call(jprobes-like)
and the return value of the function(kretprobes-like)
simultaneously. I believe that rprobes were being
designed to facilitate this. Is there is any other
mechanism that would enable this?
Kind Regards,
Venkat
