Systemtap failing on ppc64 running FC6

- Subject: Systemtap failing on ppc64 running FC6
Has anyone successfully used systemtap on a ppc64 system running FC6?
I'm seeing 23 failures with "make check" and runtest seg faults before
running any tests. 19 of the 23 "make check" failures simply say "Pass
4: compilation failed....". Running those failing tests with -vvv
typically shows many errors like the following:
/tmp/stapcewcaq/stap_10209.c:199: error: field name not in record or
union initializer
/tmp/stapcewcaq/stap_10209.c:199: error: (near initialization for
'dwarf_kprobe_probe_766')
Any idea what's going on?
