Whatever information I can garner that might be useful in this case. I
guess why the parent hasn't called wait4(), if that's even possible to
ascertain. I suppose I could determine what state the parent is in.
I'm looking at this from the outside before I've dived in like a user
would just saying "what the hell is going on here? Can I learn anything
about why this is happening?"
