This really becomes necessary when users use system tap to write generic "ad
hoc" tools. To lint the sanity of the command-line arguments, and to provide a
nice usage message really requires full access to it.
Not sure how one would prevent the compiler evaluating or replacing @n or $n
before the probe begin {} has time to execute, and abort the script nicely (with
a usage message) if the command-line arguments are missing or malformed.
