status of things...

some rambly thoughts:

okay. My American Civil War game is slowly proceding... I'll be able to
share the map with y'all some time in the foreseeable future.

Be warned, I found it necessary to extend stdterr a bit--I needed hills,
railroads, and a few other things--so it's not as effortlessly adaptable to
existing scenarios as a map using stdterr would be.

As I see how much or otherwise of the morale, cxp, etc code is in place,
I am leaning towards adding a combat module eventually. Now, for the first
draft of the scenario, I'll stick to model 0...I just want to reserve combat
model #1861 against need. k?

I need to know how much of the logistics stuff works. Do supplies get
moved?
I want armies to need to bring supply trains with them; which
will carry food, ammo, etc; but will the trains disburse supplies to the
troops automatically? Is there a way to force the computer to fill trains
even if the base is running low? (i.e., all supplies are collected for a
last push)

I'd love to have iron and food needed for production and survival
of cities. Then the players need to balence this against using their train
units to move troops around.
Speaking of trains...can a unit have 100 acp? That's what trains need
to be plausible. (it should be very playable...just click on dest and
train follows the tracks)
