Thanks. That's exactly the type of feedback I was looking for. I'm not
suggesting that an initial port of XConq to Java would be an
enhancement. In fact, initially, I would feel successful to just meet most
of its current capabilities. XConq is a cool game as it is now.
My interest in a port is pure technological. I will be amazed if it ends
up as something even approaching to that which I can buy. So in the end,
the only reason I'd be doing it is that it would be technology (ie Java)
that I was interested in supporting.
BTW: Thanks IllvilJa for the Windows binaries. Including the hacker's
manual on the distro was a nice touch!
