So apparently the network code is being fixed .
Bugs won't go, but at least you're getting rid of tyhe most blatant ones.
now the real question is: what about Xconq 's interface ?
My opinion is that it's the major problem. Experience proves that event 
weird, non-coherent interfaces, if they display nice and funny graphics, tend 
to attract  more people than old-fashion ones, even if  they are 
"well-thought.
for example, what about Xconq's splash screen ?
Of course this should be a sensible subject for Stan, and he would scream if 
somebody  ever removes his hexes. But be realistic: there's not a  single 
nice-looking unit in the whole game ! 
So I've had an idea : let's run aXCONQ SPLASH SCREEN CONTEST.
here's my contribution (mac only).
I do not intent to replace the original splash screen with this orrible 
thing, but I've designed it in 58 sec. 
This was just to prove that with a tiny effort  (less than a minute !) we can 
do some interesting graphics..
Thanks of considering that question.
