wasn't there allready someone slowly pushing into that direction? the
first step was to get xconq compiled with g++, AFAIK we are at this
step..

so maybe we need a design phase here which reorganizes the sources? 

as i told Eric prvately, indeed if we had a simple to understand OO
model of xconq i would be willing to add a CORBA layer to it, for
(remote) connections (from remote UI's over xconq-servers to distributed
ai connections...) even if its in C++ :D

but i fear migrating xconq to OO will be quite some work....
