I don't think you would get in much trouble by most of the Xconq
user base, as they tend to be fairly Windows-oriented, I think.
Probably some of them will want to play with it. I wouldn't mind
taking a peek myself.
One thing that you could consider would be to port your DirectX 9
interface on top of the present Xconq game engine. Currently, the
only two Windows GUI interfaces use Tcl/Tk and SDL. The SDL one is
quite primitive, and the Tcl/Tk one has some quirks.
