That 'Â ' is the UTF-8 encoding of ISO-8859-1 character HjÂ: T s is the
cha or  ). The native charset of
XML is UTF-8, and XT is an -8 processor.
As best I can tell, if you are serving from XT, you need a transcoder
(UTF-8=>ISO-8859-1) or you need to a ; charset=UTF-8' to your
Content-Type header in HTTP.
Someone please inform me if the above is in some way wrong.
