...will put the '&' character in the result tree and will preserve
well-formedness of your XML/XSL. The html output method will turn it into
'&' because that is what is preferred in an HTML document, even in an
attribute value. Just like XML. The '&' will be interpreted as '&' by
the browser. Try it.
