RE: Transforming XML to XML


Ummm. XSLT is Extensible Stylesheet Langauge for Transformations. It
transforms one version of XML into another.

This is a common mistake to make - the XML declaration at the top of XML
files is not actually a PI - it looks like one, but is not.

Any compliant processor should automatically output the declaration (unless
you explicitly set the output method to be HTML or text).
