You aren't copying anything without xsl:copy or xsl:copy-of.
<xsl:template match="node()|@*">
<xsl:copy>
<xsl:apply-templates select="node()|@*"/>
</xsl:copy>
</xsl:template>
and i think you want :
<xsl:template match="/">
<xsl:apply-templates/>
</xsl:template>
(It will work without also.)
Bye
Uli
(Sorry, if I'm writing silly stuff. I'm only a newbie too and i use easy questions as exercises.)
Shouldn't the following copy source to the result tree?
<xsl:template match="@*|node()" >
<xsl:apply-templates
select = "@*|node()"/>
</xsl:template>
<xsl:template match="/">
<xsl:apply-templates select="*" />
</xsl:template>
I want to make changes only to a node in the
source tree by matching in the second template.
This one does not seem to copy the source tree.
