If you want to be specific about Xalan, then the xalan-dev list (see
http://xml.apache.org/mail.html) is a far better place.
Anyway, I like JProbe (http://www.sitraka.com/software/jprobe/) myself.
You could also just do some extensions that take timing snapshots at
certain places in the stylesheet.

Hi,
I use Xalan-J 2.0 and have read the documentation on "How to speed up
transformations".
How can I profile my stylesheet to find hot spots?
