Hi David,
i use this statement to extract the text
<xsl:value-of select="normalize-space(text)" />
and i loose the paragraphs in the output html ne suggestions

yes if you are losing the paragraphs then your XSLT is wrong, but as I
don't think youve shown it that's about all anyone can say.
