Thanks for that tip. I think I like the idea of spitting out the SAX events
directly into stylesheet without the intermediate XML doc. Could you please
expand that idea. 

I want to do it right even if I am in a hurry. This is the best way to learn
XSL the right way.

I agree entirely.

If you want to avoid the intermediate XML file, you could write your Java
program to spit out SAX events directly into the XSLT stylesheet: but since
you're a beginner and in a hurry, that might be best left until later.
