Also, speaking as a systems analyst, showing a sample output is not the best
form of program specification.  It's a useful tool but not sufficient on its
own; you always have the questions like "What do you want to happen if there
are no <mumble> elements?" and "Is that <quote> element based on the fact
that you have a <shout> attribute equal to 1, or just that the attribute
exists?" and so on.

An automated system where you display a sample input in one pane and a
sample output in the other pane, and then you point to elements on one side
or the other and associate them (e.g. by dragging and dropping), with the
option to input code, sounds like an interesting project, but I definitely
wouldn't do it for an in-house project.  Far too much work.
