Yes it will - the xsl:apply-templates selects all the value elements
in the document. The template matches any value element.
The problem is actually:
> <xsl:template match="value"/>
> <xsl:value-of select="node()"/>
> </xsl:template>
The open tag is using empty-element syntax. Guru, you have to get rid
of the '/' after the match attribute:
<xsl:template match="value">
<xsl:value-of select="node()"/>
</xsl:template>
