If your top table has for each row something like:
<tr>
 <td><a href="#id1">Artist 1</a></td>
</tr>
<tr>
 <td><a href="#id2">Artist 2</a></td>
</tr>

and then later on you have the actual data, something like:
<tr>
 <td><a name="id1" />Artist 1</td>
 <td>Details for artist 1</td>
</tr>
<tr>
 <td><a name="id2" />Artist 2</td>
 <td>Details for artist 2</td>
</tr>

That should work?!?
Joshua
