Oh dear, how often do we need to say it?
& writes an ampersand to the result tree. This will be serialized as
"&"
nbsp; writes the characters "nbsp;"
So when the result is serialized, you get &nbsp;, and this shows on the
browser screen as " ". Which is wrong.
