get base URI of a node

Am I blind or do I see nothing in XPath 1, XSLT 1.1, XQuery 1_0 and XPath 2_0 Functions and Operators Version 1_0, and Saxon extensions about a function to get the base URI of a node ?

First this is useful, for instance to have access to URL or file name inside stylesheet.
Second, this is something that the XSLT processor stores anyway.
