Have you tried this:

......../row[@total_size='xxx']

I think this should return the element row which has attribute 
total_size="xxx"

for example:
XML:
=====

<root>
 <row toalsize="200">ROW ONE</row>
 <row toalsize="30">ROW TWO</row>
 <row toalsize="45">ROW THREE</row>
 <row toalsize="567">ROW FOUR</row>
</root>

XPATH:
=======
/root/row[totalsize='45']

RESULT:
=======
<root>
 <row totalsize="45">ROW THREE</row>
</root>



Without xml snippet it is difficult but have a go anyway. I am sure this 
works. Let me know if this does not.
