Zoe,
It depends upon what you mean by "whitespaces".
Whitespace is defined as any sequence of the following four characters.
tab,newline,carraige return and space.
the following is what you have to do to output the above characters
tab ---------------> <xsl:text>	</xsl:text>
newline------------> <xsl:text>
</xsl:text>
Carraige Return----> <xsl:text>
</xsl:text>
space -------------> <xsl:text> </xsl:text>
Hope this helps
Vasu

Hi,
I just want to add some whitespaces between two tags in stylesheet.
I tried
1. <xsl:text> </xsl:text>
2. <xsl:text disable-output-escaping="yes"> </xsl:text>
3. <xsl:preserve-space.. tag needs to define elements. But, I don't
want all of document to apply this.
no of these works. Do we have another ways to do this?
Thanks.
