Along the same lines, I am trying to prevent any
paragraph (p) element that only contains a Media
element from being wrapped in a p tag.
Here is what I have. Seems to work, but it is only
testing to see if the first elements are either
1) a Link element followed directly by a Media element
-OR-
2) a Media element
<xsl:template match="p">
<xsl:choose>
<xsl:when test="((descendant::*[1])[self::Link] and
(descendant::*[2])[self::Media]) or
(descendant::*[1])[self::Media]"><xsl:apply-templates
/></xsl:when>
<xsl:otherwise>
<p><xsl:apply-templates /></p>
</xsl:otherwise>
</xsl:choose>
</xsl:template>
Any cleaner way of doing this?
thanks,
