aalib

AA-lib is a low level gfx library just as many other libraries are.
The main difference is that AA-lib does not require graphics device. In
fact, there is no graphical output possible. AA-lib replaces those
old-fashioned output methods with powerful ascii-art renderer.

Build instructions:
  unpack aalib-<Pack-Ver>-<Cyg-Rel>-src.tar.xz
    if you use setup to install this src package, it will be
 unpacked under /usr/src automatically
  cd /usr/src
  cygport aalib.cygport all

This will create:
  /usr/src/aalib-<Pack-Ver>-<Cyg-Rel>-src.tar.xz
  /usr/src/aalib-<Pack-Ver>-<Cyg-Rel>.tar.xz
  /usr/src/aalib-debuginfo-<Pack-Ver>-<Cyg-Rel>.tar.xz
  /usr/src/libaa<abi>-<Pack-Ver>-<Cyg-Rel>.tar.xz
  /usr/src/aalib-devel-<Pack-Ver>-<Cyg-Rel>.tar.xz

Or use 'cygport aalib.cygport prep' to get a patched source directory
  
To find out the files included in the binary distribution, you can
use "cygcheck -l aalib aalib-debuginfo libaa<abi> aalib-devel", or browse the 
listing for the appropriate version at <http://cygwin.com/packages/>.
