Be careful on those places in the ld testsuits. Some of them are meant
to say "does this target suport that feature under ELF." You can
provide a generic "is the target ELF" procedure. But you cannot replace
each individual check with it blindly, especially in ld.

BTW, you can get this information in ld/configure.tgt or bfd/config.bfd.
