Agh! If you think that there are bugs in Cygwin, let us know and we will
try to fix them.
The goal is to make Cygwin as UNIX-like as necessary so that that the X
server has to make as few accomodations as possible.
I have not seen a definitive explanation of a problem with UNIX domain
sockets yet. Since unix domain sockets use almost exactly the same code
as IP sockets, I don't exactly understand what the problem is.
I've Cc'ed Corinna and Egor since I believe that both of them have done
stuff to the networking code. Maybe one of them has an idea on why
UNIX domain sockets are occasionally not working.
