Oops, that one slipped me by.

As I understand it, there are no text mode problems - unless you are
compiling X.

So Harold, that should be "Install all Cygwin packages, only deviate
from these instructions if you are an expert."

As for binmode, I think automode would be appropriate for some of
applications, and binmode for others.

Ideally if IMake can be linked with textmode.o, everything from there on
in can have the text mode issues sorted step by step.
