The current bzip2 should understand text mode mounts, and not insert
CRLF into non text files. I think that X needs to work on textmode pc's
before we can put it in the cygwin installation.
automode,binmode and textmode make it a lot easier to make programs
handle file correctly. I.E. for graphics progs you would link with
binmode, and then override any text file opens in the programs with
O_TEXT.
