Re: Xwin only in VGA mode (first time user)


with the cygwin1-20010414.dll it works fine now.

XWin -fullscreen -screen 0 1024x768x32 &
xmodemap /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/etc/xmodemap.de &
xfwm &

XWin -screen 0 1272x1008x32 or XWin -screen 0 1272x1008x24 still crashes 
(width and height dividable by 24)

btw: 
the latest xedit crashes with 
procedure entry point for _check_for_executable in cygwin1.dll not found
