- Subject: [Packaging errors for 1.7] Some executables are missing the executable bit
Hi
After the latest change to setup-1.7 to unpack with POSIX permissions
I noticed that mc didn't start up but exited with exit code 127.
The culprit was that a dependent dll, namely /usr/bin/cyggmodule-1-2-0.dll
missed the execute permission.
The following 3 files (after a full 1.7 install) do not have the executable bit set.
/usr/bin:
cyggmodule-1-2-0.dll -> glib-1.2.10-3
brltty-config -> brltty-3.10-1
shasum5.10.0 -> perl-5.10.0-5
Ciao
Volker
