| Cron installs as service without problems but does not run jobs. Same
| thing happens when it is installed without the '-D' argument (so that
| Windows does not monitor the service).
The job does get run !
2009/09/15 14:00:01 [SYSTEM] /usr/sbin/cron: PID 1568: (Administrator) CMD (/usr/bin/echo "abc"
> /tmp/d)
I assume you don't see /tmp/d
Is there a cron.log file in the Administrator HOME or some cron related files in /tmp?
They may contain error messages.
Note also that the -D switch is obsolete (although still supported in the Cygwin port).
usage: /usr/sbin/cron [-n] [-x [ext,sch,proc,pars,load,misc,test,bit]]
