plus openssh, rsync, psmisc, netcat, vim.
The install isn't a key component of the issue. It has more to do with what's
running and if Cygwin DLLs will collide when loaded, given the existing memory
layout.
Yeah, it's complicated. ;-)
you might want to consider getting a blurb about "rebaseall" into the event
log entry for fork failures.
i am running under Windows 7... could that contribute?
Not necessarily, though by my unscientific count, it seems more of a problem
on x64. But that may be a skewed observation of the actual facts.
