FYI, 1.1.x development is now on a branch in cvs (BRANCH_1_1_x). HEAD is
now 1.2.x and requires cygwin-1.7, and uses cygwin_conv_path()
exclusively. However...the caveats above concerning long paths and wide
chars still apply.
If anybody would like to fix up the usage of cygwin_conv_path, and the
run application in general, to support long pathnames and/or wide chars
on cygwin-1.7+, Patches Thoughtfully Considered:
cvs -d:pserver:anoncvs@cygwin.com:/cvs/cygwin-apps co run
