Sorry but, so far, your messages are not coherent enough for anyone to
help you.  We don't know what a "cygwin connection" is and how it would
relate to named pipes or virtual serial ports.

Cygwin is basically a collection of utilities which use cygwin1.dll to
emulate a POSIX environment.  There is no connection involved.
