See?, that's the kind fo word-twisting I'd like to avoid.

I didn't call any of the co-hackers lynching mob. But it's a fact that
there is a lynching mob out there beating him up for his opinions, and
anyone who dares speak up for him. Not entirely unlike what you just
did, but I won't jump to the conclusion that you're part of the lynching
mob, nor of the opportunists bunch.

GNU is not exclusively technical, and this is a political issue, so
political arguments ought to be part of the discussion about it.

I'm not making one right now, however. I'm just objecting to another
attempt to install this patch before there is a sane and calm discussion
around it, just like I did before. Plus, I'm not able to participate in
this discussion right now, as I'm about to go on a one-week trip.

Impatience to push this in right away signals the emotional reasons to
push this in that are exactly the opposite of the sane discussion it
deserves. Dismissing my objection and my inability to take part in the
conversation right now would also be quite disrespectful.

Dismissing Richard's objection, and removing him from a conversation
that is essentially about him, is also not kind.
